There's really never a good time for your AC to go out but I'm fairly certain mid-August in Georgia may be the worst, so that's precisely when my entire system decided to give up the ghost and require full replacement.

For 26 years I've had various parts repaired or replaced but this summer was the final straw.

I called 3 recommended HVAC companies for an estimate but only Independence Heating and Air was able to get to me within 48 hours.

Justin and Daniel came out and thoroughly inspected my system and confirmed my suspicions. It was finally time to accept the inevitable and replace the dinosaur that was pretending to be a dragon.

I was given a price that absolutely shocked me - in a good way!

Within two days, Justin and Daniel were back with my new system and had it fully installed within a day. They even added 2 returns and increased the duct size of 3 registers, something that should have been done from the beginning but we all know builders cut corners everywhere they can.

Justin and Daniel were amazing! They didn't even complain or charge extra for having to haul very heavy air handlers up and down from a second story attic and through an opening that was less than accommodating.

It took all day but they were so detail oriented that I really felt good about choosing Independence Heating and Air for this job. I truly couldn't be happier with the service and my new system.

The house feels so much cooler now and I've even been able to raise the thermostat by 3 degrees! My electricity usage has already dropped by 28% compared to last year!

And my new system is SOOOO quiet! I can actually sit on the back patio and have a normal conversation now!

I highly recommend this company and will absolutely be on their schedule every 6 months for service.
